Blooms Bookmark

Hello!!

I had another busy weekend around here! Sat. I helped my dad fix fence and then we cut another load of firewood and hauled it to my house and got it stacked! I am going to be soo happy when I am done hauling firewood!

Ok down to business :)

Here is another convention sample! We made this cute bookmark out of chipboard and our free stamp set Eastern Blooms! Don't you just love that new striped grosgrain!! We colored the chipboard using the old olive craft ink and a sponge dauber. You need to let it set aside to dry for a little bit before you can attach the designer paper too it. I also just love these new designer brads! They are soo much fun!

Hugs,
Holly

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set~ Eastern Blooms
Paper~ Pacific Point, Whisper White, Old Olive Patterns Designer Paper
Ink~ Old Olive Craft, Tangerine Tango Classic
Acc~ On Board Essentials (scallop square), Pacific Point grosgrain ribbon, filigree designer brads, dimensionals, mini glue dots, 1/2 circle punch, sponge daubers

I've meaning to make more bookmarks like this one that we did at convention. They ARE really fun to make, huh? Just think of the possibilities- different ribbon, chipboard, stamp set, embellies etc.... They'd make a great craft fair item!

Great idea for all the ribbon offcuts I have lying around. Especially when I get to the end of the spool.

I love the bookmark. Thanks for the tip on using a dauber to apply the craft ink to the chipboard. I have always smoosed the chipboard into the ink pad and it gets messy and not always evenly dispursed.
