Monday's 3D Challenge

Morning and welcome to my blog! I sure didn't realize how much work designing a new blog would be! lol Were almost there though! I wanted to make sure this got posted today so I am posting it here.

Today's share is the 3-D challenge I posted over on the Stampin' Addicts site! If your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums too! The challenge was to make this 3D Desk Top Picture Holder!

I used Delightful Decorations item #116517 from our Holiday Mini Catalog!

Directions~

1. Cut 1 piece of card stock 4"x 11" Score it at 3/4",5 1/2" 10 1/4" (This is the main part of the stand) I used Ruby Red card stock.

2. Cut 1 piece of card stock 4" x 2" (this is the bottom piece of the stand) I used Ruby Red card stock you want it to match the main part.

3. Cut 1 Scallop Square out with your big shot. I used our Designer Series Paper Holiday Lounge. I took the 1/16th hand punch and punched holes in the scallops.

4. Cut 1 piece of card stock 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" (this is for your photo mat) I used Sahara Sand card stock.

5. I took the ornament from Delightful Decorations and stamped it in Ruby Red ink on Whisper White card stock and cut it out. I took the 2-way glue pen and added dazzling diamonds to the image. Next I took the Ornament Punch and punched out a piece in Whisper White card stock. I placed a dimensional between the Ruby Red piece and Whisper White. I added a strip of our Silver cord behind the ornament. Off to the left I placed 2 5/16th brads off to the left of my photo mat.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to give you an update on my new blog. Its taking my dh a little longer than expected to design my new blog, but I really like how it is turning out!! Monday's 3-D Challenge using Charming

Morning and welcome to my blog!

Today's share is the 3-D challenge I posted over on the Stampin' Addicts site! The stamp set I picked was from our Holiday Mini and it is called Charming item #116519. When I first saw this set this was one that went on my list of must haves!! This set was designed to go with our Simply Adorned Charms but I knew I could make other wonderful projects with it!

It is perfect for this project and for 3x3 cards!!

Directions~

1. Cut 1 piece of card stock 4 1/4"x11", score it at 5", 5 1/2" and 6". Fold on the scored lines. Take the Word Window Punch and punch through at the top one side at a time. This is to make your handle. Note once you punch one side use it to line up the other side. I used Rich Razzleberry for the main part.

2. Cut 1 piece of card stock 4 1/4"x4" I used Old Olive and then distressed the edges with the cutter kit.

3. Cut 1 piece of card stock 4"x3 3/4" I used Crushed Curry and then distressed the edges with the cutter kit.

4. Cut 1 piece of card stock 3 1/4" x 4" I used Very Vanilla. I stamped the script in Crushed Curry. Then took the damask looking stamp and stamped it in Old Olive and then rolled the edges in Rich Razzleberry classic ink. This is called the Rock n Roll Technique. I punched out a piece of Rich Razzleberry with the Word Window Punch and placed a vintage brad in it. I took 1/2 polka-dot Rich Razzleberry grosgrain ribbon and flipped it over and used the back side with out the polka-dots. Using the Cutter Kit I distressed the edges. At the top I took some of our Mistletoe ribbon and tide through the handle.

To create this little medallion I punched out a piece in Old Olive using the Scallop Circle Punch. I then punched out a piece in Rich Razzleberry using the 1 3/8" Circle Punch. I stamped the image in Old Olive on Very Vanilla card stock and then punched that out with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch. I stamped the butterfly in Crushed Curry and rolled the edges in Rich Razzleberry. Again doing the Rock n Roll Technique. I punched this out with the 1/2" circle punch and placed it on one of our Build-A-Brads Pewter. I placed this in the center and put a dimensional on the back to pop it up on the front.

On the inside I took a medium cello bag and placed my 3x3 cards inside. I folded it over and secured it with two silver brads.

Christmas card using Serene Snowflakes

Wowzier can you believe it??? Its Nov. 1st!! Were did Oct. go?? Morning and welcome to my blog! Hope you all survived the trick or treaters last night. :)

The card I am sharing today is another Christmas card that we did at my Christmas Stamp-A-Stack! This we used two stamps sets to create! We used Serene Snowflakes item #115438 and Heard from the Heart item #111644. Have I told you all how much I love snowflakes?? This set is from our Holiday Mini, you have until Jan. 4th to purchase this set!

I love using browns for Christmas, just love the warm feeling! So I used Soft Suede card stock for my base. Next I cut a piece of Sahara Sand card stock and stamped the little snowflake randomly all over with Sahara Sand classic ink. At the bottom I used the greeting from Heard from the Heart and stamped that in Soft Suede classic ink. I cut a piece of our Specialty Designer Series Paper Christmas Cocoa, I used the Eyelet Border punch on one side of it. Took some Kraft Taffeta ribbon and ran that around the middle. I cut a piece of Sahara Sand card stock and stamped the Snowflake in Soft Suede classic ink. I used the ticket punch on all four corners. Then layered it on a piece of Soft Suede card stock. I took the mat pat and paper piercer and punched a hole in the center of the snowflake and placed one of our vintage brads in the center. I put dimensionals on the back and popped it up on the card.

Christmas card using Winter Post

Morning and welcome to my blog! Happy Halloween!! Sorry I haven't posted the last few days. My husband went in for knee surgery on Wed. again and I've been a little busy with him! You know what big babies they are! lol He has been a pretty good patient a few times he got a little cranky but I would be to! lol

The card I am sharing today is another one that we made at my Christmas Stamp-A-Stack! I made this into a pocket card.

To create this I used 2 stamps sets, Winter Post item #111780 and Many Merry Messages item #116586.

To create the pocket card, I cut a piece of card stock at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" I scored it at 4 1/4". Next I scored one of the sides at 1 1/2" and rounded the corners on just the little flap. I cut a piece of Whisper White to put under the flap at the bottom. I took some of our Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Series Paper and added little strip to the flap and on the bottom. I love this paper!! The bottom piece is flocked paper!!! It is sooo yummy!! Now you want to make sure to tape down your flap. Take some of our Silver elastic Cord and wrap around twice, and tie a not in the center. This is what holds the pocket card together!

I took the Winter Post Stamp set and used the Do not open till Dec. 25 stamped that in Real Red classic ink on Shimmer White card stock, and then cut it out with scissors. I used the Designer Label Punch and punched out a piece in Real Red card stock to go behind it. Next I took the 1 3/8 circle punch and punched out a piece in Whisper White card stock. Then using the Scallop Circle Punch I punched out a piece in Real Red Card stock. I took the 1/16 hand punch to the scallops. Then layered them all together and placed a dimensional on the back and put it over the knot that was made with the Silver Elastic Cord.

For the inside I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock at the top I took Season's Greetings from Many Merry Messages stamp set, stamped it in Real Red classic ink and then stamped the edges with the snowflake from Winter Post in Real Red classic ink too.

Christmas Share using Berry Christmas

Morning and welcome to my blog!

Today's share is a card we did at my Christmas Stamp-A-Stack.

I used Berry Christmas stamp set item # 116509 from the Holiday Mini Catalog.

The base is Bashful Blue card stock, then Old Olive car stock. Next is a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I stamped the Snowflake from Berry Christmas Stamp set in Bashful Blue ink. I cut a strip of Bashful Blue card stock and then put a piece of our Old Olive Print Patterns Designer Paper on top of it. Next I put two Soft Subtle brads at the bottom of the piece. I stamped the bird in Bashful Blue, the holy leaf in Old Olive and make merry in Bashful Blue on the Very Vanilla card stock to line them up I used the Stamp ma jig. I then put a piece of Bashful Blue card stock behind that and wrapped some of the Mistletoe ribbon around it. I placed dimensionals on the back to pop it up off the card a little.

Christmas Card Using Winter Post

Afternoon and welcome to my blog! Today's share is another card we did at my Christmas Stamp a Stack!

I used another one of my favorite Stamp Sets called Winter Post item #111780 and Many Merry Messages item # 116586.

My base is Basic Black card stock. I took a piece of Certainly Celery card stock and ran it through my Big Shot item #113439 along with Stampin' Up! Perfect Details Texturz Plates item # 115962. I then put a black vintage brad in the upper right hand corner. I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock and a piece of Night and Day Specialty Designer Series Paper (this is out of the Holiday mini) and layered it. I took a piece of 5/8 Basic Black Grosgrain ribbon and ran that in the center of the card. I placed a Sherbet Designer Button off to the left on the ribbon.

I stamped the image from Winter Post in Basic Black ink on Whisper White card stock, I used the ticket punch on the corners and on the Certainly Celery, and Basic Black. I placed dimensionals on the back and off set it. I took the Noel from Many Merry Messages and stamped it in Basic Black on Whisper White card stock. I took the small oval punch and punched it out. Using a sponged dauber I sponged Certainly Celery around it. Next I punched out a piece in Basic Black using the Large Oval Punch. They set it on the bottom right hand corner.

The inside piece is Whisper White card stock. I sponged Certainly Celery around the edges. I stamped the Reindeer in Basic Black ink in the bottom right hand corner.

Christmas Card Share 3 using Serene Snowflakes

Morning and welcome to my blog! The weekend is finally here!! Yeah!! Its been a very long week for us, my husband is going in for knee surgery again on Wed. so we've been trying to get everything done on our list before the big surgery day. Shesshh do those lists get long. So lots of late nights for us. Were also glad for today because we finally are able to bury my husbands Aunt's Ashes. Today will be another step closer for the healing process for the family.

The card I am sharing today is from my Christmas Stamp-A-Stack! I really loved this card a lot!! I used 3 stamp sets on this card! I used Serene Snowflakes item #115438 out of the Holiday Mini Catalog. I love this stamp set!!! I also used Teeny Tiny Wishes item #115370 and Many Merry Messages item #116586.

My base is Whisper White card stock. Then I took a piece of Soft Suede and ran it through my big shot with Impessions Folder Petals-A-Plenty. Next I cut a strip of Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Series Paper and took the Eyelet Border Punch to the edge. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock and stamped the snowflake in Soft Suede 3 times. In the center one I added a clear rhinestone brad and then took a sponge dauber around the edges and added Soft Suede classic ink. I wrapped a piece of White Organza Ribbon around it. I took the scallop oval punch and punched out a piece in Soft Suede. I took the paper piercer and mat pack and punched little holes in the scallops all the way around. Next I took Merry Christmas for Teeny Tiny Wishes set and stamped that in Soft Suede on Whisper White card stock. I punched that out with the Large Oval Punch. Then placed it on the card with a dimensional.

Christmas card using Dasher

Welcome to my blog! Today's share is another card that we made at my Christmas Stamp-A-Stack!

I used several stamp sets to create this beauty. For the focal point I picked Dasher item #116816. I used Four the Holiday item#116921, Snow Swirled item #11690, and Many Merry Messages item #116586.

For the base of my card I used Basic Gray. I took a piece of Apricot Appeal card stock and one of the snowflakes from Snow Swirled and stamped around the edge in Apricot Appeal classic ink. I cut 2 different pieces from Nouveau Chic Designer Series Paper and roughed up the edges using the cutter kit. I pieced them together and took 5/8 Whisper White Satin Ribbon and wrapped it around the center to hide the seams. At the bottom I stamped Peace on Earth from the Four the Holidays stamp set in Basic Gray.

I stamped the Reindeer in Basic Gray on Whisper White. I put this on a piece of Basic Gray card stock. I punched a piece of Sage Shadow with the Word Window punch and attached it with a silver brad. I took Shimmer Paint Frost White and sponged the edges on all the pieces to finish off the card.

Directions~
1. Cut 1 8x8 piece of card stock. Score 1' in on all 4 sides this is the base piece
2. Cut 1 3 1/2 x 6 piece of card stock. Score 3/4", 1 3/4", 2 3/4" this is for the center divider.
3. Cut 2 3 1/2 x3 pieces of card stock. Score 3/4"m 1 3/4", 2 3/4" this is for the other 2 center dividers.
4. Cut 4 3x3 pieces of card stock. This is for the center squares of each spot to hide the seems.Note~ You will have to trim them to fit a little.
5. Cut 1 12x12 page protector at 6x6 for cover

Holiday Mini~Berry Christmas and Four the Holidays

Morning and welcome to my blog! Monday night was my Christmas Stamp A Stack! We had a lot of fun! The card below is one of the 10 different Christmas Cards we made.

We used two stamp sets out of the Holiday Mini. We used Berry Christmas item #116509 and Four the Holidays item #116921.

The base is Old Olive card stock at the bottom I stamped Happy Holidays in Chocolate Chip ink. I took a piece of Ruby Red card stock and used the Scallop Edge Punch on it. I attached it to a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock. I took some Gold Elastic cord and wrapped it around twice on this piece. Then attached to my card right above the Happy Holidays.

I took the Berry Christmas set stamped the wreath in Old Olive, the bird in Ruby Red, and the string in Chocolate Chip all on a piece of Whisper White card stock. I then layered it on Chocolate Chip and Ruby Red card stock. I placed 2 dimensionals on the back, and set it in the center. I put 2 gold brads off to the left of the card at the top to finish it off. It is a very simple card to make!

On the inside I cut another piece of Ruby Red card stock and used the Scallop Edge Punch on it. I stamped the bird in Old Olive and then put the edge piece over the legs just a little. I did this to dress up the inside some.

Dreams du Jour~ Legal Pad Cover

Morning and welcome to my blog! Happy Friday to all! :)

Just a little note, tomorrow I will be posting blog candy for the weekend so make sure to check back and leave a comment for your chance at the blog candy!!!

I created this Legal Pad cover for convention last year, this is were I got my idea for my 3D challenge a few weeks ago! This one I used Dreams du Jour item #111624. My cover is made out of Brocade Blue card stock. At the top I used some Old Olive Designer Print Patterns Paper. I took 5/8 Brocade Blue grosgrain ribbon and wrapped that around the DSP. I then stamped the butterfly in Old Olive ink on a piece of Kraft Paper and cut it out and attached to the center with a dimensional. I stamped the butterfly at the bottom corner in Brocade Blue ink.

I also decorated a paper clip to go with it. I punched out Old Olive card stock with the Scallop Circle punch twice. I stamped the butterfly on Whisper White card stock and punched it out with the 1 3/8 circle punch. Then finished it off with a little strip of Whisper White 1/4 grosgrain ribbon.

Morning and welcome to my blog!

Just a reminder that today is the last day to RSVP and Pay for my Christmas Stamp -a- Stack on Monday Oct. 19th. The class fee is $20, we will be making 10 different Christmas cards!! All supplies and envelopes are included!!

The card I am sharing with you all today is one we made at my Mystery Hostess Party the other night! We used the stamp set called From the Crypt item #115460 and Teeny Tiny Wishes item #115370.

I used Basic Black for my base. I cut a piece of Old Olive, the edges were sponged with Old Olive ink. I placed 3 vintage brads off to the left. At the bottom I cut another piece of Basic Black card stock and a piece of Cast-a-Spell designer paper and snailed them down. I ran a piece of 5/8 Basic Black grosgrain ribbon in the center.

I stamped the skull in Basic Black ink on Whisper White card stock. I used the cutter kit to rough up the edges and sponged around it with Old Olive ink. I placed it on Basic Black card stock and then put dimensionals on the back. I stamped Happy Halloween in Basic Black ink on Whisper White card stock. Then punched it out using the Word window punch. I took the Modern Label punch and punched out a piece in Old Olive. I took the Large Oval punch and punched out a piece in Basic Black. I layered all 3 pieces together and then put on a dimensional.

Falling Leaves Sample

Morning! Welcome to my blog :)

Last night was my Halloween Mystery Hostess Party! We had a lot of fun!! Thanks to everyone who came!! This was one of the cards we made last night! I didn't like and finally gave up and thought well every now and then you have to have a dud right. lol I got a few comments the gals loved it! lol Just goes to show what you might not like someone else will :)

I used the Falling Leaves stamp set item #115368 and the Bright Blessings Jumbo wheel item #115626. The base is Dusty Durango, the next layer is Rich Razzleberry. I ran it through the big shot with the Texture plates Kit #4. I took the bone folder and roughed up the edges to make them fold a little. On the bottom I took the tearing edge and ripped the edge.

I cut a piece of More Mustard and used the Bright Blessings jumbo wheel, and wheeled it in More Mustard. I also took the bone folder to that too and roughed up the edges. I took some 1/2" polka-dot dusty durgango grosgrain ribbon and wrapped it around. I stamped one leaf in dusty durango on whisper white and punched it out with the 1 1/4" circle punch, then took the 1 3/8" circle punch and punched out the Rich Razzleberry. I layered the two pieces and placed a dimensional on the back.

I stamped grateful in Rich Razzleberry ink on whisper white card stock and punched it out using the modern label punch, then ran a piece of dusty durango through the big shot, with the matching Magnetic movers and shapers. Layered them and placed to gold eyelets at each end.

I took some of our Champagne Mist shimmer paint and applied to the card with a sponge dauber to give it a shimmer.

Monday's 3D Challenge using From The Crypt

Morning and welcome to my blog! Sorry I haven't been posting last week was a little crazy! I am still trying to bounce back from being so sick. My brother had surgery on his hand to remove a tumor and have a cement like material put in its place, and he had so much pain after the surgery they gave him morphine and he had a reaction to it. So I ended up staying longer than planned with him. Hes doing a lot better!

I used 3 stamp sets for this project. I used From The Crypt item #115460, Sanded Background item#109294 and Grateful Greetings item #116511

1. Cut lunch bag to 5 3/4" long
2. Cut a piece of card stock 4 3/4" x 5 1/2" this is for the front of the bag (mine was basic black)
3. Cut a piece of card stock 4 1/4" x 5", I used the ticket punch on all four corners and sponged with perfect plum. I stamped Goblin Greetings in Old Olive and stamped the bats in Pumpkin Pie.
4. Cut a piece of card stock 4 1/2" x 8 1/2", then score at 5 3/4". The fold will go over the top of your lunch bag, I took the scallop edge punch to the bottom. Then took the 1/16th hand punch and punched little holes in the scallops. At the top I added the Perfect plum piece that I punched out with the Word window punch and they set 2 black vintage brads.
To decorate like mine~
Cut 1 piece of card stock 3 1/4" x 3" (mine was whisper white) stamp your image on this piece. I sponged pumpkin pie around the edges.
Cut 1 piece of card stock 3 1/2" x 3 1/4" (mine was basic black)
Cut 1 piece of card stock 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" (mine was old olive) I stamped the spiders in Old Olive ink on the Old Olive card stock. I used the cutter kit to rough up the edges.
Cut 2 pieces of Designer Paper 4 1/2" x 1" I used the cutter kit to rough up the edges.
Cut 1 piece of Card stock 2 1/2" x 1" (mine was whisper white) stamp your saying on this piece and round the corners. I sponged the edges in Old Olive.

Monday's 3D Challenge using Cheep Talk

Morning and welcome to my blog! I haven't been posting this week I have been pretty sick. I got dh's cold only it turned into a sinus infection and the beginning of pneumonia so I haven't felt up to doing too much. lol I am feeling a little better this morning finally so maybe the drugs are starting to kick it to the curb!

If your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums too! The challenge was to make a Junior Legal Pad Cover! I thought it turned out cute and the colors are so bright. Its been very rainy and cloudy here for over a week now.

The stamp set I used was Cheep Talk item #113204. The base is Tempting Turquoise card stock. You'll want to cut a piece of card stock 5 1/2" x 9 1/2". Then score it at 8 1/4" and 8 1/2". This will create the little flap for the top of the Junior Legal Pad. I cut a piece of DSP Pattern Prints in Pumpkin Pie at 5 1/2" x 1". I also cut a little strip of Tempting Turquoise and punched it with the Scallop Edge Punch, I attached this under the DSP. I ran some 5/8" Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon around it. I took the Cheep Talk stamp set, colored the limb with Chocolate Chip Marker, added some leaves to the steam and cut it out. I stamped the flowers in Pink Passion and set 2 Fire Circle Rhinestone brads in the center of 2 of the flowers. The other flower I took a Tempting Turquoise button from the Designer Button set called Playground and set it in the center with a glue dot. I stamped the bird in Tempting Turquoise and cut it out. Then put dimensionals on the back of all the pieces. At the bottom I stamped the flowers in Pumpkin Pie, Pink Passion and the leaves in Old Olive. I thought it turned out pretty cute!

Morning stampers! Welcome to my blog!

I wanted to share this card for a very long time with you all, and my exciting news!!! Only I missed placed it and finally found it! Stampin' Up! has a gallery just for there demos to send cards into and then if your card is picked they showcase it on there gallery!!! My card got picked!!!! Wooo Hooooo

I used two stamp sets for my card I used Friends 24-7 item #113218 and Baroque Background Stamp (this is retired)
My base is Mellow Moss card stock, I stamped the Baroque Background with Mellow Moss ink and stamped it onto the card stock. I took the scroll from Friends 24-7 and stamped that in Chocolate Chip ink. I cut a strip of Chocolate Chip card stock and used the Eyelet Border punch on one side of it. Then I took some Mellow Moss Taffeta ribbon and ran that over the top of it and placed it off to the left side of the card. Next I cut a strip of Natural Ivory card stock and used the eyelet border punch on one side. I took the Friends saying from Friends 24-7 stamp set and stamped that in Sahara Sand randomly all over, then took the scroll from the same set inked it up in Mellow Moss and stamped that randomly. I took a sponge dauber and sponged the edges with Chocolate chip ink.

I stamped the bird from Friends 24-7 in Chocolate Chip ink on Naturally Ivory paper and then sponged the edges with Chocolate chip ink. I layered it on Mellow Moss then Chocolate chip and taped it to the Natural Ivory piece. I stamped 24-7 in Chocolate Chip ink on Natural Ivory card stock and punched it out with the small oval punch, then sponged the edge with Chocolate Chip ink. I punched out a piece of Mellow Moss with the Large Oval Punch, and then a piece of Chocolate Chip with the Scallop Oval Punch. I placed it on a dimensional on the card.

I love how this card turned out! This stamp set is one of my favorite sets!!!

Monday's 3D Challenge usinging From The Crypt

Morning and welcome to my blog! I know, I know I have been missing in action. Our house got hit with some nasty germs. Dh and I both have been pretty sick this last week, and I sure didn't have an mojo at all to do anything, but run the remote :)

Today's share is the 3-D challenge I posted over on the Stampin' Addicts site! If your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums too! The challenge was to make a bag from an Envelope!! I love how this one turned out! I received one last year from one of my adopted down line Amy and just loved it! It was a lot of fun to make!! These are great for anytime of the year, Halloween, Christmas, Valentines, B-days well you get the point :)

I used 2 stamp sets for this project. I used From The Crypt item #115460 and Teeny Tiny Wishes item # 115370.

I took an envelope that measured 4 1/2" x 5 3/4", I taped down the flap then scored 1/2" in on each long side. Then I scored 1/2" on one of the short sides. The other short end I cut 1/4" off. Then folded the envelope into a bag. I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock to fit the envelope and a piece of our DSP Cast-a-Spell, I sponged the edges with Old Olive classic ink. On the bottom I ran a piece of 1/4 pumpkin pie grosgrain ribbon. I stamped Happy Halloween from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Set in Basic Black ink on Whisper White card stock and then punched it out with the modern label punch. I took the spider out of the From the Crypt stamp set and stamped the legs in Basic Black around the edges. Then sponged the edges with Old Olive ink. I placed dimensionals on the back and popped it up.

I stamped the Skull out of the From the Crypt Stamp Set in Versa Mark Ink and poured Black embossing powder over it. Then heat set it. I sponged the edge with Old Olive ink. I layered it on Basic Black then Pumpkin Pie card stock. I placed dimensionals on the back and put it on the front of my bag. At the top I took the double rectangle punch and punched through the layers. Then I thread the 1/4 eggplant grosgrain ribbon through. In the center I placed a build-a-brad. (more details on that below)

And bam! I created a cute little bag for Halloween! You can too! I have also added a tutorial video below for you too! Easy to make!

I took the Skull image in Basic Black ink and stamped it on Whisper White card stock. Then where the bats our at on the left hand side I punched them out with the 1/2 circle punch. I sponged the edges with Old Olive and then used a glue dot and placed it on the build-a-brad. I didn't add the clear cover over it I liked how it looked!

Christmas Share using Snow Swirled

Hello stampers! Welcome to my blog! I didn't get the video done for yesterday's tutorial it is raining here. Its very dark and I know some people complained last time that the video was too dark the last time it rained so I am waiting until the cloudiness goes away but we really needed the rain bad.

The card I am sharing with you all today is a card I did for another swap that I was in. I used two stamp sets for this creation. I used Snow Swirled item #111690 and Teeny Tiny Wishes item #115370. The base of my card is Dusty Durango, then Chocolate Chip. I cut a piece of Bashful Blue card stock and took the snowflake from the Snow Swirled stamp set and inked it up in Bashful Blue ink, and stamped randomly all over. I sponged the edges with Bashful Blue ink. I took a piece of Dusty Durango Print Patterns Designer Paper cut it to fit the Bashful Blue card stock then took the Eyelet Border Punch to it. I then took a piece of 1/2 polka-dot Dusty Durango grosgrain ribbon and wrapped it around the Bashful Blue card stock about half ways down. Using the Word Window Punch I punched out a piece in Old Olive and folded it in half to go over the Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip card stock. Then I placed a clear rhinestone brad in the end.

I took the Tree from the Snow Swirled set and stamped it in Old Olive ink on the Whisper White Card stock. I sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip ink. I stamped the little snowflakes in Bashful Blue ink on Whisper White card stock and punched them out with the 1/2" circle punch. I add glitter to the center of all the snowflakes. Then the 3 Bashful Blue ones I placed dimensionals on the back and popped them up off the tree. I cut a piece of Old Olive card stock to go behind the Whisper White, I sponged the edges with Old Olive ink. I took the Merry Christmas from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, stamped it in Chocolate Chip ink on Whisper White card stock punched it out with the Word Window Punch and then sponged the edges with Dusty Durango classic ink. I placed a dimensional behind that to pop it up off the card.

I love how it turned out and just love the Snow Swirled stamp set! The colors are not traditional colors but I love how well they go together!

Monday's 3-D Challenge using Crazy for Cupcakes

Morning and welcome to my blog :) I am posting late this morning. We got home late last night and I am dragging today. lol We had a lot of fun!!

Welcome to my Monday's 3D Challenge! Today's share is the 3-D challenge I posted over on the Stampin' Addicts site! I used 2 stamp sets for this bag. I used Crazy for Cupcakes item #111618 and Petal Prints Background item#111008.

I took a Lunch Bag that was 5" x 9 3/4" and cut it down to 9".
Next I cut 2 pieces of Chocolate Chip card stock and cut them 5" x 9" this is to cover the bag front and back.
Then I cut a piece of Melon Mambo card stock 4 1/2" x 8 1/2" I took the Pretty Petal Background stamp and inked it with Melon Mambo ink and stamped on it. I took a sponge and Chocolate Chip ink and sponged around the edges.
I cut a piece of our Designer Series Patter Prints Pumpkin Pie paper at 4 1/2" x 4 1/4" then took the Eyelet Border punch to one edges and sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip ink. I stamped the little saying from Crazy For Cupcakes set and then layered it on the Melon Mambo paper. I took a piece of 1" double stitched Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon and wrapped it around the top of the DSP. I then stamped the image of the cupcakes from Crazy For Cupcakes Set in Basic Black ink on Whisper White card stock. I colored the cupcake in with the blender pen using the Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie ink. I added some dazzling diamonds glitter to the cupcakes to jazz them up a little! Then layered it on Chocolate Chip card stock and Melon Mambo card stock. Then attached to the front of the lunch bag with dimensionals. At the top of the bag I took the Scallop Oval Punch and punched through the layers to make a little handle. I topped it of with a bow I made from 1/4 Pumpkin Pie grosgrain ribbon.

Falling Leaves Stamp Set and Bright Blessings Wheel

The other day I announced the winner to my Blog Candy, the winner was Melody (lacyquilter) please email me so I can send you your goodies! :)

Today's card is a card I did for a swap! I will be honest I really struggled with this card, I don't know why I love the stamps and the wheel I used but it sure didn't want to come together in the beginning!

I used Falling Leaves Stamp Set item #115368 along with Bright Blessings Jumbo Wheel item #115626. My base of the card is Perfect Plum, I stamped at the bottom using one of the leaves from the Falling Leaves Stamp Set. I stamped it in Perfect Plum classic ink for a tone on tone affect. Then I layered Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, and Old Olive. I took the Bright Blessings Jumbo Wheel and inked it in Perfect Plum wheeled it out on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink.

I stamped Grateful on a piece of Old Olive card stock with Old Olive ink then punched it out using the Modern Label Punch. I placed two gold brads on each end to hold it in place. To the right I wrapped some twill tape around. I took the little saying from Falling Leaves Stamp set.

I stamped first in Soft Suede punched out the center with the 1/2 circle punch, next stamped the same stamp in Old Olive and punched that out with the 1" circle punch. Then I took the 1 1/4" circle punch and stamped out a piece in Perfect Plum. I layered each piece with a dimensional, then sponged the edges with Perfect Plum classic ink.

Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I over slept. Of course yesterday was a day that I had a cleaning job so I rushed around the house like a chicken with its head cut off to get to my client's home in time. Up on my arrival my customer greets me at the door and says I am soo glad your here! I want you to clean everything today. So that meant a job that takes a few hours normally took me most of the day. That was more than ok because that meant more money to buy stamps :) Then I rushed home in time to help dh finish up working on a section of our siding and head to town and clean another job. What a day I tell ya! I am so grateful to who ever invented coffee!!

I did however manage to make this card last night :) I used two stamp sets to create this card. I used Halloween Frights item #111766 and Sanded Background item #109294. My base is Basic Black card stock, then Old Olive card stock which I sponged the edges with Old Olive classic ink. Then I cut a piece of Whisper White took the Sanded Background stamp and stamped it in Basic Black. I sponged the edges with Basic Black ink. I placed two vintage brads in the upper right hand corner. I cut a strip of Designer Series Paper called Cast-A-Spell, (this paper is awesome), I roughed up the bottom edge with the cutter kit and then across the top I ran 1/2 Old Olive striped grosgrain ribbon.

I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock and stamped the scary cat from Halloween Frights stamp set in Basic Black ink and sponged the edges with Basic Black ink. I then layered it on Old Olive and Basic Black card stock. I placed dimensionals on the back and set it on the card. For my little greeting I stamped Halloween Frights in Basic Black ink on Whisper White card stock. I punched it out with the Modern Label Punch. I ran the Magnetic Movers and Shapers through my Big Shot and a piece of Old Olive card stock to cut out a bigger Modern Label punch to place behind the white one. Next I took the Wide Oval Punch and punched out a piece of Basic Black card stock. Then layered them all together, placed a dimensional on the back and set it in the lower right hand corner.

Tip for the day
When placing more than one brad use your Mat Pack and Paper Piercer to get them evenly spaced and lined up! It makes it soo much easier!!

On the inside I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock and stamped the bats from the Halloween Frights Set in Old Olive classic ink.

Ok onto Monday's 3D challenge this week!! Today's share is the 3-D challenge I posted over on the Stampin' Addicts site! If your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums too! The challenge was to make this box from our Scallop Circle die!! I love how this one turned out!

I used 2 stamp sets to create this project. I used From The Crypt item #115460 and Grateful Greetings item #116511 (this is a set from the Holiday mini). You will need your big shot and the Scallop Circle bigz die to create this project! First cut out 2 pieces of cardboard and run through the big shot with your Scallop Circle die. Then cut out 3 pieces of Basic Black card stock and run through the big shot with your Scallop Circle die. Glue 1 of the Basic Black scallops to your chipboard scallop to create your base. Then glue the 2 remaining ones to the other chip board piece. This will be your lid so cover both sides of the chipboard up. For the rest of the details watch the video below!

I stamped the image from the stamp set called From The Crypt. I stamped it with VersaMark and then embossed it using Black embossing powder. I roughed up the circles with the cutter kit and then sponged Pumpkin Pie classic ink around the edges. Then added 1 1/4 Basic Black stripped grosgrain ribbon to the top.

I stamped Goblin Greetings from Grateful Greetings in Basic Black ink on the pumpkin pie card stock. Then I stamped the spider From The Crypt Stamp set in Pumpkin Pie classic ink around the edges. I stamped the skull From The Crypt Stamp set in Basic Black on the Pumpkin Pie card stock.

Blog Candy Fall Package

Morning and welcome to my blog!

I have such a busy weekend ahead of me and I don't think I will get any time to stamp. I know, know isn't that horrible!! I think the world will stop :) Were cutting firewood again and working on my parents farm. So I thought hey what better time to do blog candy!! Since it is September I decided to put together a little fall package! I didn't take a picture of it but I will also be including stamped images from Gifts of the Earth Set too! Since I am an SU Demo this package only included current Stampin' Up! Goodies!!!

A Rose is A Rose

Morning and Happy Friday!!!!

Yesterday I saw a sketch challenge posted on Gretchen Barron's Blog so I had to go try it out and this is what I came up with. I changed it just a little because I can never follow exactly :)

I used two stamp sets for this card I used A Rose is A Rose item #111560 and Teeny Tiny Wishes item #115370. My base is Soft Suede, next is a piece of Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of So Saffron Patterns Designer Series Paper, I sponged the edge with Soft Suede and placed 3 half pearls from the Pretties Kit item #109114 in the bottom right hand corner. I cut a strip of Soft Suede card stock punched the bottom edge with the eyelet border punch. Across the top I took the mat pack and paper piercer and pierced little holes across the top and down the right hand side half ways. I wrapped some white organza ribbon around it.

Using the Circle Scissor Plus item #112530 and the Glass Mat item #112531 I cut out a 3 3/4" circle out of Whisper White card stock, I cut part of the edge off and stamped my Rose from A Rose is a Rose Stamp Set in So Saffron. I stamped the leaves in Soft Suede and sponged the edges with Soft Suede. I stamped Happy Birthday from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Soft Suede on Whisper White card stock I punched it out with the Large Oval Punch and sponged the edges with Soft Suede. Then using the Scallop Oval Punch I punched out a piece in the So Saffron Prints Designer Series Paper. I pierced holes in the scallops and then mounted it to the front of the card using dimensionals.

I really like how this card turned out, I will admit I had some doubts in the begining. lol

I dressed up the inside too! I just added a strip of So Saffron Prints Designer Series Paper, punched the edge with the Eyelet Border Punch and sponged the edges with Soft Suede. It really dresses up the card on the inside by adding that little extra!

The card I am sharing today uses Asian Artistry which is Level 2 Hostess Set. When I saw this set I had to have it! I really love it!!

Ok onto all the deets of this card :)

The base of my is Basic Gray, then added a piece of Basic Black. I used some of our Nouveau Chic DSP item #115670 I sponged the edges with Basic Gray classic ink. Then I took some Basic Gray Taffeta ribbon and wrapped that around the middle. I placed a small grommet from our Basic Grommet Set in the lower right hand corner. Next I cut a strip of Basic Black and a Strip of Nouveau Chic DSP and layered them off to the left. Then I cut a piece of Basic Gray and using the mat pack and paper piercer I punched holes in the upper left hand corner. I used Sage Shadow and Apricot Appeal Markers on the Stamp from Asian Artistry, then stamped on WW card stock and sponged the edges with Basic Grey Ink. I mounted this onto a piece of Basic Black and placed a silver brad in the upper left hand corner and then off set it on the Basic Gray card stock.

In the inside I cut a piece of WW card stock and using the Birthday saying from Sincere Salutations item #115068. I stamped it in Basic Gray. I took the dragon fly from the Asian Artistry Set and stamped it in Sage Shadow in the upper left hand corner. On the bottom I took some Nouveau Chic DSP and punched the edge out with Eyelet Border punch and then wrapped some Basic Gray Taffeta ribbon around it. I loved how this card turned out!

Morning and welcome to my blog!

I created this card the other day when I was able to steal some time away from working on our house. lol

The stamp set I used was Nature Silhouettes item #111542 and On Your Birthday item #111664 I made this card to be 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" I don't normally make cards this size but I had this idea and wanted to try it. I really am happy with how it turned out! My base is Really Rust, then More Mustard, next is the Chocolate Chip piece I used the mat pack and the paper piercer and pierced all four corners. I added a strip of the Autumn Meadows DSP from the Holiday Mini Catalog and placed 2 vintage brads off to the left. On the Nature Silhouettes image I sponged in the following colors Chocolate Chip, Really Rust and More Mustard and then stamped it on the WW card stock. I sponged the dear in Chocolate Chip next and stamp it using the stamp ma-jig. Then matted that onto a piece of More Mustard card stock and placed in the center of my card.

Using the saying from On Your Birthday stamp set, I stamped that in Chocolate Chip punched it out using the Large Oval Punch, sponged the edges with More Mustard classic ink. I used the Curly Label Punch and punched it out in Really Rust and then paper pierced the top and bottom to add a little more to it. Then snailed the two pieces together, placed a dimensionals on the back and placed it in the bottom left hand corner.

I thought I would show you what I did on the inside! I cut a piece of Whisper White stamped my saying from On Your Birthday Stamp Set in Chocolate Chip and then sponged the edges in More Mustard. Just wanted to add a little more to my card :)

Moday's 3D Challenge~ Chapstick Holder

For this project I used 2 stamp sets. I used Falling Leaves item #115368 and Teeny Tiny Wishes item #115370. The base is Chocolate Chip card stock, then I used a piece of Print Patterns Old Olive Designer Series Paper to wrap around the Chocolate Chip card stock. Next I cut a piece of 1 1/4" Chocolate Chip stripped grosgrain ribbon and wrapped around it. I cut a piece of More Mustard card stock sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip classic ink. I stamped the leaf from the Falling Leaves stamp set in More Mustard to give it a tone on tone effect. Next I stamped the saying from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Chocolate Chip classic ink on Whisper White card stock, I added a piece from our Hodge Podge Hardware Styled Silver over it. I inked the leaves from the Falling Leaves set in the coordinating colors of ink to match the paper. Cut them out and placed dimensionals on the back of the.

I cut a strip of Chocolate Chip card stock to hold the chapstick in place. Then I cut 2 pieces of More Mustard card stock added a strip of the Pattern Prints DSP which I punched out the edges with the eyelet border punch. Next I added a strip of 1/2 polka-dot Dusty Durango grosgrain ribbon. Then I finished off by adding some more stamped leaves from the Falling Leaves Stamp Set.

Tutorial~ Mini Album

Good Morning! Welcome to my blog!

Yesterday I posted I was going to share the tutorial for my mini album that I have been sharing with you all the last few days! This is a super easy album to make!!

So here goes :)

Step 1

Cut 2 piece of card stock 5 1/2" x 10 1/2". Then score each piece a 3 1/2", and 7". You will have 2 pieces like the picture below.

Step 2

You'll want to apply sticky strip to one end like in the picture below. Note before putting the pieces together fold them first to see what direction yo want your album to close.

Step 3

Put the two pieces together and you are now ready to decorate your album!!!

2nd Part of Mini Album/Razzle Dazzle

Happy Saturday everyone!!!

Morning and welcome to my blog! Grab your coffee and visit awhile :) Here is the second half of my mini album! If you missed the first half don't worry it was the post right before this one.

To create this album I used Razzle Dazzle item # 116714 and I used En Francis Stamp Set item #109521. This is the last 2 pages to the album.

I cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry long enough to make two pages out of it. I scored it in half so it opens up to another 2 pages. The photo mat is Crushed Curry, to get the shaped corner up at the right I used the Round Tab Punch, I used the little dip part to create a fancy corner, I then sponged some pumpkin pie around the edge. Of to the left I added a strip of Designer Series Razzleberry Lemonade Paper which I used the eyelet border punch on. For the ribbon I took some White Organza ribbon I sponged Rich Razzleberry and Pumpkin Pie ink on it. For the little tab on the left hand side I stamped the En Francis stamp in Rich Razzleberry on Melon Mambo and then punched it out using the word window punch, then sponged Rich Razzleberry ink around it. I folded it in half to create the tab and placed a silver brad to hold it together.

Here is what it opens up too. It creates another 2 pages!

The page on the left has a photo mat of Whisper White, again I punched out the fancy corner using my Round Tab Punch. I used the flower scroll from the Razzle Dazzle set and stamped in Pumpkin Pie. I sponged Crushed Curry around the edges.

The page on the right I used Pumpkin Pie as the Photo Mat, I cut a strip of Crushed Curry and used the eyelet border punch on it and then sponged some Pumpkin Pie on the edge of it. I took some Whisper White Taffeta ribbon and stamped the En Francis stamp in Rich Razzleberry and then sponged it in Pumpkin Pie.

Mini Album/Razzle Dazzle Stamp/Rock n Roll Technique

Today's share is a mini album I made for a convention swap! There is quite a bit to this little album to share so I will be doing it in 2 posts and afterwards I will be posting a tutorial for it :)

I used one of my new favorite sets which is Razzle Dazzle item # 116714 and I used En Francis Stamp Set item #109521. I also used the new incolors, I just love these new incolors so much!!! The hole album base is made out of Crushed Curry card stock. You'll need to select some ribbon to tie it closed I picked 1/2 polka-dot Melon Mambo Grosgrain Ribbon and 1/4 Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon. You'll need to make sure to cut your ribbon long enough to wrap around the hole album to tie is shut.

Next I took the En Francis Stamp Set and stamped in Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink on a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock. I took the Cutter Kit and roughed up the edges. I then added a strip of Pumpkin Pie Card Stock with a strip of Designer Series Razzleberry Lemonade Paper. Which I sponged all the edges with Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink. I added two vintage brads to the side. I stamped the image from Razzle Dazzle in Crushed Curry and then rolled the edges in Rich Razzleberry. This is called the Rock n Roll Technique I really love this technique! I stamped it on Whisper White Card Stock and sponged the edges with Crushed Curry Classic Ink. I cut a piece of Melon Mambo, roughed the edges with the Cutter Kit and then placed my stamped piece on it. I added dimensionals on the back and placed it in the center of the mini album cover.

Page 1 and 2

Top page I used Rich Razzleberry card stock, cut a piece of Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and used the eyelet border punch on the edge. Cut a piece of Melon Mambo for the photo mat. At the bottom I used 1/2 polka-dot Rich Razzleberry grosgrain ribbon. Then used the Big Shot and Button #5 sizzlit.

Next page I used Pumpkin Pie card stock for my photo mat, off to the side I added a strip of Razzleberry Lemonade DSP, sponged the edges with Rich Razzleberry classic ink. I ran some 1/2 polka-dot Crushed Curry ribbon over the DSP. I stamped the little flower image from Razzle Dazzle Stamp Set in Rich Razzleberry classic ink on Whisper White card stock. I punched them out with the 1/2 circle punch and sponged some pumpkin pie classic ink around the edges. I put a silver brad in one flower punched piece. Then placed them over the ribbon with dimensionals.

I cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock for my photo mat. I punched out a strip with my eyelet border punch in Crushed Curry and added a little strip of Razzleberry Lemonade DSP. I took the saying from Razzle Dazzle Stamp Set and stamped this in Crushed Curry on Whisper White card stock. I punched it out with the Word Window Punch and sponged the edges with Pumpkin Pie classic ink.

4th page

I cut a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock sponged the edges with Rich Razzleberry classic ink. For my photo mat I cut a piece of Melon Mambo card stock. I wrapped some 1/2 polka- dot Crushed Curry grosgrain around the bottom. I stamped the flower image from the Razzle Dazzle Stamp Set in Pumpkin Pie classic ink, punched it out with the 1/2 circle punch, sponged the edges with Rich Razzleberry classic ink and put a vintage brad in the center. I placed it on the ribbon with a dimensional. I took the big flower from the Razzle Dazzle Stamp Set and stamped it on Pumpkin Pie card stock in Pumpkin Pie classic ink. I then punched out a piece with the Photo Corner Punch and sponged the edges with Rich Razzleberry classic ink. I added a vintage brad in the center and placed it in the upper left hand corner with a dimensional.

Gifts of the Earth Card 2

Good morning everyone! Welcome to my to my blog!

This morning I am sharing another card I made for a swap! The Stamp Set I am using is from the Holiday Mini and it is called Gifts of the Earth item #116501 and I also used some of the New Designer Series Paper called Autumn Meadows item # 116769. I love this set and the paper!!! Can you tell? lol I kept this one very simple too.

My base is Very Vanilla, then Really Rust which I punched out all 4 corners with the ticket punch. Then I added the strip of DSP Autumn Meadows and wrapped 1/4 Very Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbon around it. I stamped the Turkey from Gifts of the Earth in Chocolate Chip classic ink on Very Vanilla card stock and then layered that on Chocolate Chip card stock. I placed dimensionals on the back and then set it off to the left over the ribbon. You'll notice in the bottom right hand corner I stamped the saying from Gifts of the Earth in Chocolate Chip classic ink. Very simple and easy card to remake if you need a bunch!

The Stamp Set I am using is from the Holiday Mini and it is called Gifts of the Earth item #116501 and I also used some of the New Designer Series Paper called Autumn Meadows item # 116769. I love this set and the paper!!!

My base is Taken with Teal, next layer is Really Rust, I added a strip of Chocolate Chip with Autumn Meadows DSP you'll notice I added two Antique Brass jumbo eyelets on the side. For the center I used Taken with Teal, More Mustard a piece of Autumn Meadows DSP which I sponged Chocolate Chip ink around the edges and the wrapped 1/4 Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon around it. At the bottom I stamped the saying from Gifts of the Earth in Chocolate Chip classic ink.

I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock, stamped the image from Gifts of the Earth Stamp Set. You'll notice there is two colors I stamped it in Chocolate Chip and then in Really Rust this is called the Rock n Roll Technique I love this Technique! I then sponged More Mustard Classic Ink around the edges snailed it to a piece of Really Rust card stock and then added a Earth Elements Brad in the left hand corner. Then placed it on dimensionals above my saying. I love these colors they are not colors I would normally pick!

Hello and Good morning!!!

I hope you all enjoyed the blog hop over the past few days! Thank you all for your sweet comments!! It was a lot of fun to create those projects using the Serene Snowflake set! I love that set!!!!

Today's share is the challenge I posted over on over on the Stampin' Addicts site! If your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums too! The challenge was to make this Top Note Handbag!! I love how this one turned out! I made one for the blog hop only I made that one as a scrapbook purse, this one has a clear cello bag inside so you can use it to put goodies in!

For the stamp set I used Season of Joy item #110384 along with my Big Shot item #113439 and the Top Note Die item #113463. I took a piece of Designer Series Paper Nouveau Chic and cut it out with the Top Note Die and folded it in half, then punched holes through the top and ran some 5/8 Basic Black Grosgrain ribbon through for the handle. This is for the top.

Next I cut a piece of Basic Gray 4 1/4" x 7" and then scored it in half at 3 1/2". I took our Season of Joy Stamp Set and using the pointsetta I stamped them on Whisper White card stock in Basic Gray and Apricot Appeal. I cut them out added some dazzling diamonds and put dimensionals on the back to pop them up. In the background you'll notice I stamped the swirls in Basic Black. Super easy to make!! Great gift idea for anyone!!!

The stamp set that I am featuring from the Holiday Mini is Serene Snowflakes item#115438.

My first project that I am sharing is a card!

The base is Sahara Sand, then Soft Suede, next is some of the yummy New Designer Series Paper Christmas Cocoa Specialty. I took the cutter kit and using the distressing tool I roughed up the edges. I stamped 3 snowflakes in Soft Suede and added a pearl from the Pretties kit in the center snowflake. I wrapped some Kraft Taffeta Ribbon around and added some more pearls. In the bottom right hand corner I used the saying from Four the Holidays (another Holiday Mini stamp set) I inked it in VersaMark and then in Soft Suede and stamped one the DSP. Next I poured clear embossing powder over it and heat set it. Viola one easy but elegant card done!

For my second project I created this cute little Purse Scrapbook!

I used the Big Shot along with my Top Note die for the top. I stamped the snowflakes in Soft Suede Classic Ink on Soft Suede. I made my little medallion by stamping a snowflake in Soft Suede on Sahara Sand Card stock, I punched it out and layered it on Soft Suede, and Sahara Sand.

I flipped over the 1/2 polka-dot Soft Suede ribbon and used the back side with out the dots.

My 3rd project was a scrapbook page of my husband and I and our dog gizmo!

My base was Sahara Sand I sponged Soft Suede ink around the edges. Then I took a piece of Soft Suede Textured card stock and stamped my snowflakes in Soft Suede randomly all over. I took a piece of DSP Christmas Cocoa Specialty paper and sponged the edges with Soft Suede and placed it in the center. I added the lattice cut out and set a pearl from the Pretties kit in the center of each. On my photo mat I sponged Soft Suede on the Sahara Sand card stock, then the Soft Suede I stamped the snowflakes around the edges. My journal piece is Sahara Sand, in the background I stamped the Snowflakes in Sahara Sand to give it that tone on tone effect. I sponged the edges with Soft Suede, placed it on dimensionals and added the pretties pin to it.

2nd half of Scrapbook Page

Happy Friday and good morning!!!!

Here is the second half to my scrapbook page that I posted about yesterday! When you open the cover here is what is on the inside! Pictures of our pets which are my babies :) The white kitty is Kiko she is my husbands cat she has extra toes on her front paws so she looks like she has mittens on, the other kitty is Kyro and he is a stinker! Hes the cat that is into everything and very curious about everything! lol Last but least is my dog Gizmo he was my wedding gift from my husband. We rescued him from the pound, hes turning out to be a very good dog. Well when he's not digging holes all over my yard! lol

The base is Chocolate Chip, then under each picture is Really Rust card stock which I used the En Francis stamp set item #109521 and stamped in Really Rust on each square. Then I cut a strip of Mellow Moss and I used the Jumbo Friendly Words Wheel, I wheeled that in Mellow Moss.

Next I cut a piece of Really Rust card stock and scored it in half so I had a journaling spot. I used Friends 24-7 stamp set item #113218 on this piece. I stamped the scroll in Really Rust ink to give it that tone on tone effect. Then I took a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and stamped the scroll image in Mellow Moss and placed this piece on the Really Rust. In the second picture I show what is in my journaling spot.

I really love how the page turned out!

Scrapbook page using Kind Thoughts Brocade Stencil

Hello and Good morning stampers!!!

The project that I am sharing with you all today, has a few steps to it so I will be sharing pictures of it over the next 2 days here. I joined a swap with a group of close friends, we each had to make a 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 scrapbook page all about us. Well that was a huge challenge for me to try to fit everything about me on that size! lol So what I did was create a piece that will open up so I had more space to add pictures and info about me!

I used colors that I love! I used Elegant Eggplant, Mellow Moss, Choc. Chip and Really Rust. Which were my wedding colors that I used. Just love these colors so much!

I used one of my favorite stamp sets Friends 24-7 item #113218. I stamped the scroll image in Elegant Eggplant on Elegant Eggplant to give it a tone on tone affect. Then I took a piece of Mellow Moss card stock and using our Kind Thoughts Brocade Stencil I sponged Really Rust ink over it. I really loved how that worked! Then I took the Eyelet border punch to the one edge of the Mellow Moss.

I cut a strip of Very Vanilla card stock and using the Jumbo Friendly Words Wheel I wheeled that in Mellow Moss across the Very Vanilla card stock then took a sponge and sponged really rust around the edges. Now comes what I did for the ribbon! We don't have any really rust grosgrain so I took our Very Vanilla grosgrain ribbon and sponged Really Rust ink on it, let it dry and cut of the edges of the binding and pulled it apart to get that soft look instead. I did this with the Mellow Moss and the Elegant Eggplant. I took a little bit of each put it together and wrapped it around the Mellow Moss card stock. I know what your thinking Wowzier!! I loved how the ribbon turned out!! I added a strip of Choc. Chip card stock under the punched out eyelet strip and then at the top right hand corner of it I added in Vintage Brads.

Then using my Big Shot item # 113439 and my Flower Daisies #2 die item# 114520 I cut out the daisies in Really Rust and Elegant Eggplant, then punched out the center in Very Vanilla with my 1/2 circle punch. I took our En Francis stamp item #109521 I stamped in the coordinating colors of the flowers so the Really Rust ones got stamped with the Really Rust ink and etc. I then put the flowers together and placed a vintage brad in the center. The last step I took my Color Spritzer Tool and my Choc. Chip marker and spritzed color all over the page. Then our engagement picture to the front. Hard to believe that next week is 3 years already since we got married!

Now this is the piece that opens up and on the inside is my list all about me! I printed it out on Very Vanilla card stock, stamped the scroll image from Friends 24-7 in Mellow Moss ink and then sponged the edges with Really Rust ink. I added strip of Elegant Eggplant behind it and then paper pierced the top and bottom edge of it also.

Joy Fold Card with Rock n Roll Technique

Good Morning and welcome to my blog!

Today's share is a card I made for convention. I was unable to attended convention this year so my wonderful convention buddy Chrissy did some swapping for me!!! I have been wanting to try one of these Joy Fold Cards for quite sometime so I signed up for a swap with folds! They are supper easy to make too!!

I used one of my favorite new sets Razzle Dazzle item# 116714 I stamped the image in Melon Mambo and then rolled the edges around in Rich Razzleberry. This is the Rock n Roll Technique. I then stamped it on some Whisper White Card stock, I roughed up the edges with my cutter kit and sponged some Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie around the edges. I layered this on the Crushed Curry and placed a piece of 1/2 Rich Razzleberry polka-dot grosgrain ribbon behind it in the upper right hand corner.

Next I cut a piece of Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper, I used the Circle Circus Stamp set item # 115778 and stamped one of the images in pumpkin pie on the DSP. I then roughed up the edges with the Cutter Kit and sponged some Rich Razzleberrry ink on it. Then layered this on a piece of Melon Mambo Card Stock. I took my first piece and put dimensionals on the back and attached it to the last piece I just made.

In the left hand corner I made my little round tab to hold the card closed.

On the base I used Rich Razzleberry card stock along with some more Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper.

In the second picture you will see how it opens and on the inside I used On Your Birthday Stamp Set item #111664 I stamped this in Rich Razzleberry Ink on the Melon Mambo card stock.

I added vintage brads, and button from the sherbet package to give it a little something more.

Good Morning!

Sorry I haven't posted much its been hard trying to get back into our routine, every week seems to be just crazy! Since we live in Northern MN the clock is ticking on getting projects done before winter hits. Only MN worry about that! lol

We are currently working on our house, we are re caulking and re staining our log siding on our house what a project we have gotten ourselves into. lol I seem to not have enough hours in the day! Once that's done then we have to re shingle the shingles got delivered yesterday ewwww is all I can say! lol

My share today is a gift I received from a fellow stamping friend! Some of us couldn't go to convention this year so we decided to swap goodies with each other. The first day was new stamped images and goodies. I received a ton of stamped images along with this cute card and band aid tin! How cute are they!! My friend Ellen was so good to me! I really loved everything!

In Memory

Its been a very long week here but I wanted to take a few minuets and post to my blog. A lot of people have been sending me cards, emails and phone calls and it has moved me greatly that in our time of need people that I don't know well have taken the time to express there sympathies to us. I wanted to share with you all a picture of my husbands Aunt.

This death was very hard because she committed suicide. She went on a trip and did this so its been a nightmare trying to get her remains back here. Unfortunately her ashes will not be here in time for the funeral on Monday.

She was an amazing person, sweet, kind, caring and loved all her nieces and nephews greatly. It was something completely out of character for her to do. We as a family will struggle to understand why this happened but we will remember her laughter, her smile and her love. We will never forget all the special moments that we got to share with her.

The funeral is Monday Aug. 3rd at the Calvary Lutheran Church. Visitation is 10am and the funereal is 11 am for those of you that have been asking.

Thank you again for you thoughts and prayers.

Sad weekend

I don't even know where to begin in this post tonight. This weekend we had an unfortunate tragedy in our family and my husbands Aunt died. It was an unexpected loss and a complete shock to us all.

I will not be posting this week to my blog, hopefully next week I will be back sharing my love of crafting with you all.

Life is so very fragile, please take a moment to hug and tell the ones you love how much you do love them.

Bloomin' Beautiful

Good Morning!

I had some quiet time this morning so I was able to do a little stamping this morning! Yeah Everyone was still sleeping this morning so I tip toed to my craft room where I proceeded to make lots of noise :)

I used one of my favorite stamp sets called Bloomin' Beautiful item # 111490 I stamped the image in Black Stazon ink and stamped it on Whisper White card stock. I colored it in using my blender pen along with the So Saffron, and Mellow Moss classic ink pads. I used the ticket punch on all four corners.

My base is Whisper White card stock, then Mellow Moss which I stamped Bloom in the lower right had corner. Next I put a piece of Designer Series So Saffron Paper and added some white organza ribbon around it. To the left side I added some clear rhinestone brads, I wanted to kick it up a little and thought the brads helped. Then I placed my stamped image with dimensionals on it. It is a very simple card and nothing too fancy.

On A Pedestal

Happy Tue!

Today's share is a twist on using On A Pedestal stamp set.I personally didn't come up with the idea of using this set as a glass, when I saw it on different blogs and sites I had to try it out!

I used On A Pedestal item #113814, Circle Circus item #115778, and Teeny Tiny Wishes item #115370. This card was out of my comfort zone to say the least, I really struggle with using bolder colors I am more an Earth Elements type of gal. I colored the On A Pedestal Images with the incolor markers and green galore marker then stamped it on Whisper White card stock. I used the ticket punch on it and the Bermuda Bay behind it. I used the 2-way glue pen and add the dazzling diamonds to it. Then placed it on a piece of Brilliant Blue card stock. I cut a strip of Green Galore card stock and used the Scallop Edge punch on it, then using the paper piercing tool I punched holes through each scallop. I layered it on a piece of Brilliant Blue card stock and paper pierced holes along the top. Next I tied some 1/2 polka-dot Crushed Curry ribbon around it. Then I took glue dots and dipped them in the Chunky Sprinkles and placed them along the edge. On the right hand side below the ribbon I stamped happy birthday from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set. Using the Circle Circus set I stamped the image randomly in Green Galore, Brilliant Blue, Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay. Then used the ticket punch on the corners of all the layers before assembling it.

Morning!

Welcome to my Monday's 3D Challenge!

Today's share is the 3-D challenge I posted over on the Stampin' Addicts site! If your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums too! The challenge was to make this cute little treat box using our pillow die!

I used Just Baseball item #115002 and the Sanded Background item # 109294 along with my Big Shot item #113439 and the Pillow Box Die item #113466. I die cut out a Pillow Box in Natural Ivory, I cut one end of scored lines off so it will be open on the end to put treats inside. I then stamped the Sanded Background in Choc. Chip ink. Next I took the baseball from Just Baseball and stamped that in Night of Navy. I stamped two baseball bats in Choc. Chip ink and the hat in pumpkin pie ink and cut them out and placed dimensionals on the back. Then I put peanuts in a small cello bag and created the little tag using my small oval and large oval punch.

Morning!

Well today's share is perfect and I have a good story to go with it in a min! To make this card I used Game Night item # 113220 and the standard wheel In the Cards item #1138831. I used the Designer Series Paper Jackpot.

When this first came out in the Stampin Up Catalog I had to have it all! You see my family is big on games! When we were little we would stay with Grandpa and Grandam and play cards all the time. Look out all of us grand kids are very good card sharks :) So I needed this set and the coordinating paper to scrapbook all those memories from the past and for those to come.

Yesterday was a long day at my parents farm working afterwards my mom and I played cards were I promptly spanked her bad in cards :) Good daughter that I am I didn't rub it in too bad either :) She might disagree at this though.

I stamped the image from Game Night in Versa Mark and then embossed is with Black embossing powder on Very Vanilla card stock and then punched it out with the Large Oval Punch. Then I punched a piece of Real Red with the Scallop Oval Punch and a piece in Basic Black with the Wide Oval Punch and layered all 3 pieces together. I wheeled In the Cards standard wheel in Basic Black on Very Vanilla card stock and layered that on Basic Black and Real Red card stock. I paper pierced along the top and bottom of each layer. Then I wrapped 1/4 real red grosgrain ribbon around it. Then I cut a piece of the Designer Series Paper Jackpot punched 2 holes at the lower right hand corner and put 2 real red brads from the Bold Brights container. Then layered that on Basic Black and Real Red card stock.

Dixie from http://dixie-dixiesdelights.blogspot.com/ posted the accessory challenge to use some glitter!! Now how can a gal pass that up so below is what I came up with!

I used On a Pedestal item #113814. I earned this stamp set free for being a demo!! If you would like to learn how you can earn free stamp sets feel free to contact me today! I have specials for anyone that signs up with me to become a demo!

I stamped the base in Basic Black ink on Whisper White Card stock, then stamped the cake in Real Red ink on top. (To get it lined up good use your stamp a ma jig it does wonders!) I then added Dazzling Diamonds on the images. I used the ticket punch on the corners and then mounted it to Basic Black Card stock and then Real Red. I stamped the saying in Basic Black ink punched it out with 1 3/8 circle punch and attached it to the Scallop Circle done in Real Red.

For the Designer Paper I used Jackpot and used the Scallop Edge Punch on it. I wrapped some Black Gingham ribbon around it and then set 2 Real Red brads for the Bold Brights in the upper left hand corner. Then mounted it all on Real Red Card Stock.

Autumn Days

Hello and good morning!

Yesterday I got to play for a little while in my craft room! Here is what I came up with! I played around with Autumn Days Stamp Set! I really love this set and there was no doubt about me ordering this on the preview! lol Everyone will probably get sick of me using it after awhile!

I used Autumn Days item #115452 and Teeny Tiny Wishes item #115370. I used the Big Shot item #113439 along with the Texture Plate Kit #4 item #114531. I did the Rock n Roll Technique with the wheat you stamp your image in a light color mine was Crushed Curry and then you ink your stamp along the edges with a darker color mine was Dusty Durango. I then used the ticket punch on the Whisper White, Dusty Durango, and Crushed Curry. I sponged the Whisper White card stock edges with Soft Suede. Next I stamped some images on the Soft Suede and then ran it through the Big shot with the Texture plate to make it look like bark. I wrapped 1/2 polka-dot Dusty Durango ribbon around and then taped it down to the old olive card stock. Then I set 3 gold eyelets off to the left and taped it to the Crushed Curry. I stamped Happy Thanksgiving from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set and punched it out with the Word Window Punch, I sponged some Dusty Durango around it and placed it on the old olive piece that I punched out with the Modern Label Punch.

Good morning!

We finally got rain here and man did we need it! Today its still over cast and cloudy so here's hopping for more rain!

My share today is another card we made at my Mystery Hostess Party! I used a new set called Circle Circus item #115778 and I used On Your Birthday item #111664. Have I told you all how much I love the new incolors!!! I used Rich Razzleberry and Dusty Durango. I stamped the images on Whisper White card stock randomly. I used the ticket punch on all the corners. I wrapped 1/2 polka-dot dusty durango grosgrain ribbon around the rich razzleberry card stock. For my center piece I punched out a piece of Rich Razzleberry and Dusty Durango with my scallop circle punch, I stamped the image 3 times in Rich Razzleberry and Dusty Durango on Whisper White and the cut one and punched the centers out to layer, then I placed a build a brad in the center. Placed a dimensional and then mounted it on the center of the Whisper White card stock.

Sweet Stems

Good Morning!

Last night was my Mystery Hostess Party. Thank you to the ladies that attended, I had a lot of fun and I hope you all did too! One of the projects they made last night was the card below!

I used Sweet Stems item # 113726 this set is on the dormant list but you still can order it. We also used Teeny Tiny Wishes item #115370. We used the Big Shot item #113439 along with the Ovals Original Die item #114525. I cut out the Ovals and stamped the image in Black Stazon and then colored it in using a blender pen and So Saffron, Old Olive Classic Ink. I taped the Ovals together and then using the White Gel Pen I added dots around it on the Old Olive card stock.

I took a piece of So Saffron pattern prints designer paper punched out the edge with the Scallop Edge Punch and then taped it to Whisper White card stock. I stamped thank you from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set in Old Olive. I wrapped a piece of 1/2 old olive striped grosgrain ribbon over the top of the designer paper. Next I taped it down to the old olive card stock and then set to Old Olive brads at the top on the right hand side. I then taped it to the Whisper White card stock and added my ovals on top of it with dimensionals.

I also used Teeny Tiny Wishes item #115370 and Circle Circus item# 115778. I used the new incolor Melon Mambo along with Pumpkin Pie and Choc. Chip. I colored my image with markers (we have markers in the incolors yeah!!) then stamped on Whisper White Card stock. Then layered all the pieces together. I punched out a small oval circle in Choc. Chip wrapped it around the image and set a clear rhinestone brad in the center. I also added a strip of 1" Double Stitched Choc. Chip grosgrain ribbon behind it. Then placed dimensionals on the back and attached to the front! I stamped Happy Birthday in Melon Mambo and punched it out with the Modern Label Punch and attached it to my little bag of goodies!

The card I am showcasing today is one I made with my new stamp set! This is my favorite new stamp set too! It is called Razzle Dazzle item #116714. It is so yummy with the new incolors!! My base is Crushed Curry. Next was Rich Razzleberry, I used the En Francis Stamp Set item #109521 I stamped it in Rich Razzleberry ink. Then I cut a piece of Melon Mambo add on top of it a piece of Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Paper yummy paper!!! I took a sponge and colored the edge with Rich Razzlebery ink, I added a piece of white taffeta ribbon, which I colored it with a sponge and the Rich Razzleberry ink. I stamped my image from Razzle Dazzle in Crushed Curry and then in Rich Razzleberry. This is called the Rock an Roll Technique. I then layered it on Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry. I used the cutter kit and distressed all the edges on the card. I added two vintage brads in the lower right hand corner. What did I tell you are the new incolos awesome!!!

Good Morning!

Yesterday when I got home from a job I was able to get some stamping time in! Yeah and this is the card I made.

I used Best Wishes and More item #111602, this was the set that I got for free at Regionals in April! I really like this set because it is so versatile!

I stamped the bird in Brocade Blue on Whisper White card stock and then layered it on So Saffron and Old Olive card stock. I put dimensionals on the back of it. Next I tied some 1/2 Stripped Old Olive grosgrain ribbon around the So Saffron Patterns Designer Series Paper. Then I cut a piece of Brocade Blue card stock, used the scallop edge punch on the bottom of it then took the 1/16th hand punch and punched holes along the bottom. I took my saying and stamped it in Old Olive classic ink then snailed the Pattern Paper to the Brocade Blue card stock. Off to the left side I placed 3 old olive brads from the Earth Element container. Then layered it on Old Olive card stock.

Hello!

Its a very nice and pretty morning here. Another busy day here at our household too. Seems like there is always never ending projects to do! I had some excitement yesterday I had a very strange looking guy come to my door yesterday wanting help, he wanted to come in to my home I told him no and shut the door and called hubby home from work. The cops ended up being called because the guy disappeared. Very creepy. So it made my day off a very interesting one! I never did get to do any stamping like I planned.

The set is A Rose Is A Rose item #111560 it is a 2 step stamping set. I stamped the flower in Pretty in Pink on Whisper White Card stock, the leaves were stamped in Mellow Moss then I took the Stamp-a-majig and lined up the outline part of the stamp and stamped Pink Passion on top, for the leaves I used Old Olive. I stamped the saying at the top in Old Olive. Then I punched two holes and put 2 brads in from the Soft Subtle container. Then I placed the Whisper White on Old Olive and then on Pink Passion card stock. Very simple card to make.

The challenge was to make a cute little wallet from the Top Note die! This is the one I made. I used the Wanted Stamp Set item #115106 along with the Big Shot item #113439 and the Top Note die item # 113463. I used Soft Suede and Whisper White Card stock. For ink I used Dusty Durango, and Soft Suede these are two of the new incolors! To make the medallion I stamped Soft Suede on Whisper White and then the center I stamped the image in Dusty Durango on Whisper White, then punched them out and layered on each other and set a brad from the Hodge Podge Hardware Styled Silver in the center of it. I took the 1/2 Polka-dot ribbon and flipped it over sponged soft suede ink on the edges.

Good Morning!!

Happy 4th of July!! We have a busy day today here!! It is Jamie's grandpa's b-day yes he was born on the 4th of July. So big happy birthday to grandpa today! I just want to take a moment and say whatever your plans are for today have a safe day!!

Here is the card that I am giving grandpa today. I used Nature Silhouettes item #111542, Fundamental Phrases item #114968 along with my Big Shot item #113439 and the Texture plates kit #4.

I stamped the tree in Mellow Moss, then using the Stamp ma jig I placed the deer where I wanted it and stamped it in Choc. Chip. This was done on Naturals Ivory card stock. I punched out the corners with the ticket punch and then layered it on Really Rust Card stock.I placed a vintage brad up in the corner of the Really Rust. I took a piece of Choc. Chip card stock and ran it through my big shot using the texture kit #4 to make it look like tree bark. Then I tied a piece of natural hemp around it. I ran some mellow moss card stock through the big shot with the button #5 and tied natural hemp through them. Next I stamped Birthday from the Fundamental Phrases set in Really Rust on Naturals Ivory card stock and punched it out with the word window punch. Then I placed dimensionals on everything and attached to the Choc. Chip card stock. Its all placed on Really Rust card stock.

Today's card is another card we made at my Stamp A Stack. For the card we used Simply Said item #115066. I stamped the image in Black Stazon and then colored it using the Blender pen along with Bravo Burgundy and Certainly Celery classic ink. On the Certainly Celery card stock I stamped the flowers in Certainly Celery ink, stamped the saying in Bravo Burgundy. I punched a hole using my Crop a dile and set one of our Jumbo Eyelets Antique Brass off to the right side and then ran 1/4 Bravo Burgundy Grosgrain Ribbon through it. Then I taped that piece down to the Bravo Burgundy and using dimensionals I placed the flower piece on top of the ribbon.

Good Morning and hello :)

Its another beautiful day here! Last night I went to bed dreaming about all the new stuff in the catty. My wish list is quite long this year!

This card is one that we did at my Stamp a Stack the other night.

I used the Big Shot item# 113439 and Stampin' Up! Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder item #114517. I put bashful blue inside the folder and then ran it through the big shot. Then sanded down with the sanding blocks. Next I added Brilliant Blue to the centers of the flower with a sponge, and then sponged Bashful Blue all over the flower. At the bottom I wrapped Basis Gray Taffeta ribbon around it. I stamped one of the images from the Oval All Stamp Set item #113790 in Basic Gray ink on Whisper White then colored in the flowers with Brilliant Blue, Bashful Blue classic ink. I added dazzling diamonds to it for a little more kick. I punched it out with the Large Oval Punch, and layered it on a piece of Brilliant Blue that I punched out with the Scallop Oval Punch. Then placed a dimensional and added to the ribbon. The Basic Gray card stock was stamped on with the En Francis background stamp item #109521 in Basic Gray ink, I then roughed up the edges using the cutter kit. In the upper right hand corner I placed 2 brads from the bold bright pack. Then placed everything on Brilliant Blue card stock!

Ok for today's share I went way out of my comfort zone! I used colors that I normal do not use! I used 2 different stamp sets to make this card. I used Great Friend item# 113792 and Sincere Salutations item #115068. I also used the Big Shot item# 113439, Ovals item #114525 and the Little Leaves sizzlet. My base of the card was Pixi Pink, Yo Yo Yellow, Tempting Turquoise. On the Whisper White I stamped Gable green leaves around the edge and then filled in with butterflies in Pink Passion and Tempting Turquoise (I stamped them off first on scratch paper). I placed a piece of 1/4 Tempting Turquoise ribbon around the card stock . I then stamped one butterfly in Yo Yo Yellow and Tempting Turquoise and cut them out. I added dazzling diamonds to them. Next I attached everything to the card front.

Good Morning!

I over slept this morning! Last night was my stamp a stack and it ran until midnight! We had so much fun and did more gabbing and laughing than paying attention to our stamping! lol Thanks ladies I had a great time! So I am a little late posting this morning.

My share for today was a card we made last night at my stamp a stack. I used the Boatloads of Love item #114938 (This is a retiring stamp set you have until June 30th to purchase it!) We stamped the image in Black Stazon on Whisper White and then colored it in with the Water Color Wonder Crayons and a Blender Pen. I stamped pulling for you in old olive classic ink. Then using the crop a dile I punched a hole up at the right hand corner and set a Pewter Jumbo Eyelet. Next I took some 1/2 Bashful Blue Stripped grosgrain ribbon and tied that through the eyelet. I then layered the Whisper White on Old Olive, Bashful Blue, and Real Red. Very simple but cute card!

Today's share is the 3-D challenge I posted over on the Stampin' Addicts site! For mine I used the Snow Burst Stamp Set item #110386 (This is a retiring stamp set you have until June 30th to purchase it!) I used the Patterns Pack Designer Series Paper II (this is a level 1 hostess item). I stamped the snowflakes randomly all over using Tempting Turquoise, Apricot Appeal and Garden Green classic ink on Whisper White Card stock. Then I stamped Merry Christmas in Garden Green on Whisper White. I used dazzling diamonds all over to jazz it up!

Today's share is a card that a customer requested. She wanted a idea for using the Doodle This Stamp set as a sympathy card but wanted it very simple so this is what I came up with. I used the Doodle This Stamp Set item # 114954 (This is a retiring stamp set you have until June 30th to purchase it!) I stamped the flower in Black Stazon twice on Whisper White Card stock. I colored one flower in with a blender pen and our Watercolor wonder crayons. I cut both of them out and layered them, place a clear rhinestone brad in the center and put a dimensional on the back of them. Using the scallop edge punch I punched the edges of the Whisper White and Basic Black card stock.I then used the sympathy saying from Close as a Memory item #114946 stamped it in Basic Black on the Whisper White card stock. Next I took 1/4 Eggplant grosgrain ribbon and tied it around the Whisper White card stock. Last but not least it is all layered on Elegant Eggplant card stock. Very simple and easy card to recreate which is what my customer was looking for!

Today's share is a card I made using the Heartfelt Thanks item # 114980 (This is a retiring stamp set you have until June 30th to purchase it!) I colored on my stamp with Rose Red, Always Artichoke, and So Saffron Markers and then stamped on Whisper White Cardstock. I then layered it on Rose Red and So Saffron Cardstock. On my Always Artichoke cardstock I stamped Thanks in the bottom right hand corner in Always Artichoke classic ink. I then wrapped a piece of 1" double stitched Rose Red Grosgrain Ribbon around it. On the left hand side I punched two holes and placed two brads from the Rich Regal Brads. I then layered that on So Saffron and Rose Red cardstock.

Ok on with today's share! I made this cute card for my upcoming Stamp-a-Stack. I used Boatloads of Love item #114938. I stamped the boat in Black Stazon Ink on Whisper White cardstock and then colored it in using a blender pen with the following classic inks. Night of Navy, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie. I really love these 3 colors together! Then I layered it on Pumpkin Pie cardstock. Next I punched out a piece of Night of Navy with my small oval punch and bent that around it and then placed an old olive brad in it from the Earth Element brad set.

My base of the card is Night of Navy. Then next I took a piece of Old Olive and stamped the birthday greeting from On Your Birthday item #111664 in Night of Navy ink. I took 1/4 Night of Navy grosgrain ribbon and tied it around the old olive cardstock and then took a piece of 1/2 pumpkin pie striped grosgrain ribbon and tied that around the night of navy ribbon. Then I placed dimensionals on the back of my boat piece and layered that on top. I think its a cute card and I really like how it turned out!

Hello and good morning!

It is looking like we are going to have a nice and sunny day here today. Yeah!! I thought I would share a scrapbook layout with you all today. I did this layout for my scrapbook class last month. I am featuring retiring scrapbook paper called Juntos out of the Spanish Catalog. I really love this Designer paper!

The pictures are of some of my fellow friends and demos. A bunch us got to meet at Regionals in April for Stampin' Up! we had so much fun! Afterwards we went out for supper at Buca di beppo the food is yummy there! My husband had a friend meet us there so he wasn't all alone. He is in the green shirt.

For Cardstock I used Real Red, More Mustard, Regal Rose and Mellow Moss. I used my Big Shot item #116314 along with the Daisy #2 die item #114520, Top Note die item #113463 and Little Leaves sizzlet. To create my title I used the Go Go Boots sizzlet set item #113450. For the stamp set I used Baroque Motifs item #113490. I used the eyelet border punch on my first page on the Juntos DSP. For the center of some of my flowers I used Rich Regal Brads, Circle Rhinestone Brads Fire and Builda Brads.

Good Morning!

The card that I am sharing today is one I made last year for convention and I never posted it! Yikes! So I thought I would share it with you all today. I used Boatloads of Love item #114938 (This is a retiring stamp set you have until June 30th to purchase it!) My base it Tempting Turquoise, then Real Red. On the Real Red Cardstock I wrapped a piece of 1/2 Pumpkin Pie grosgrain ribbon around the bottom. I stamped the saying in Real Red ink punched it out with the small oval punch and layered it on a piece of Tempting Turquoise that I punched out with the Large Oval Punch. I put that on a dimensional and then placed in the center of my ribbon. I cut a piece of Pumpkin Pie to fit my Whisper White piece and used the spiral punch along the side of it. I stamped my boat in Black Stazon Ink and colored it in using the blender pen with Pumpkin Pie, Real Red and Tempting Turquoise classic ink. I think this set is just cute and I will miss this one!

Good Morning!!

It is nice and foggy this morning so those of you out and about drive careful please!
Last night was Ann's party!! We had so much fun and man did I laugh!! My share today is the scrapbook page that I demoed last night at her party! When I designed this I was think about her cute little granddaughter.

I used Doodle This item #114954 (This is a retiring stamp set you have until June 30th to purchase it!) The base of the page is So Saffron, I stamped flowers in the background using So Saffron ink to give it a ton on ton affect. I cut a strip of Old Olive and placed it on the left hand side. Next I took a strip of Walk in the Park DSP, punched out the edge with the Eyelet Border punch and then layered that over the Old Olive strip. I took 5/8 Very Vanilla grosgrain and ran that down the side also. I stamped the flower in Stazon Black ink on watercolor paper, then using a blender pen I filled in with Cameo Coral. I cut the flower out and placed a button in the center from our Fresh Favorites II. I used my Big Shot item #116314 and my Little Leaves sizzlet and cut out leaves in Old Olive. For the journal block I stamped the scrolly part in Black Stazon and then colored it in with a blender pen using So Saffron, Old Olive and Cameo Coral. For my photo mates I used Old Olive and Very Vanilla.

I used the Prehistoric Pals item #115048. (This is a retiring stamp set you have until June 30th to purchase it!) I also used A Little Birthday Cheer item #115018. I used Taken with Teal for my base. I stamped the dinosaur in Taken with Teal on Whisper White Cardstock, placed a silver eyelet in the corner. I then mounted it on the Designer Series Pattern Pack II (this is a level 1 hostess item). I stamped Happy Birthday in Taken with Teal on Whisper White Cardstock and made a little banner for it. I also added a silver brad off to the right. Good morning!

Hubby and I got a lot accomplished yesterday! yeah!! We both got a little sun burnt. :) Of course it took us all day to get done everything so I didn't get any stamping time in! Snow Burst 2

Good am everyone!

The sun is out today!! Yeah!! Hubby and I have a busy day ahead of us, we are working on cutting firewood and doing some other stuff today around our house. So glad the weather is nice for it!

I love the Snow Burst Stamp Set item #110386 so much that I thought I would share another card today with you all featuring this stamp set! I also used the Curly Label Punch Bundle item # 112966. The base is Real Red Cardstock, then Always Artichoke. I used the ticket punch on the corners of it. Then I cut a piece of Very Vanilla and stamped the snowflakes in Real Read, Always Artichoke, then used the ticket punch on the corners. I wrapped a piece of 5/8 Real Red grosgrain ribbon around it, added the two gold brads. In the center of my big Real Red Snowflake I added an Old Olive Brad, then attached it to my card. Next I stamped Merry Christmas in Real Red from the Punch Bundle and cut it out. I used the punch from the bundle and punched out a tag in Old Olive. I then layered them with dimensionals and placed them on the front of my card. Its a very simple and easy card which I needed! lol

Snow Burst

Happy Friday!!

Wow did we get some storms here last night! One min. the sky was light and next it was a dark as it gets at midnight! Just crazy how fast the storm came on. Of course today is another icky day! Doesn't the weather person know I have lots to do outside? They can stop forecasting rain anytime soon! lol Ok enough blabbing about the weather on with my share for today!

This is a card we made at my Mystery Hostess Party this month. I am really sad to see this set go! This is the Snow Burst Stamp Set item #110386. My base is in Baja Breeze, I stamped one of the snowflakes in Baja Breeze to give it that tone on tone affect. The next layer is Always Artichoke which I took a white gel pen and did little dashes around it. Certainly Celery was snailed down next, on the Whisper White I stamped a snowflake in Always Artichoke and set a clear rhinestone brad in the center. I stamped different snowflakes in Certainly Celery and Baja Breeze, then tied a piece of 1/4 Always Artichoke grosgrain around the end and add a little 1/4 Whisper White and Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon to jazz it up more. Off to the side I cut the base of my card shorter, using the Scallop Edge punch I punched out a little strip of Certainly Celery to place along the edge. I also took the 1/16th hand punch and punched holes in it to add more to it. I really love these colors together, there some of my favorite colors!

Good Morning!

What a foggy morning today is! Wow! hopefully it clears off but doesn't get to hot and humid today.

As I told you last week all my shares from here until June 30th will be with Stamp Sets that are retiring that I have! My share for today is a card we made at my Mystery Hostess Party this month! I used the Heartfelt Thanks Stamp Set item #114980, along with my Big Shot item #116314 and our Top Note Die item #113463.

My base is Barely Banana, I stamped a flower image around the edges in Lavender Lace ink. The next layer is Elegant Eggplant, then Lavender Lace that I ran through on the SU Backgrounds 1 Texture Plates. The Top Note was cut out in Whisper White, I stamped around the edges with Lavender Lace and Barely Banana. Since this is a 2 step stamp set I went back with the outline image in Elegant Eggplant. Heartfelt was stamped in Kiwi Kiss, a brad from the Soft Subtle pack was placed in the upper right hand corner. On the bottom left hand corner, I punched out a slot with the Horizontal Slot punch. I did this so I could run some Kiwi Kiss Satin Ribbon through and then added a piece of Elegant Eggplant 1/4 grosgrain around it to finish it. I love these colors together, I think they look great!

Good Morning and Happy Friday!!

Well I was a little late about posting about the upcoming blog hop that I am taking part in for this coming weekend. Its just been crazy around here and I kept forgetting to post about it! I know my bad!

Any how the tour will run from noon on Saturday, June 13th to midnight on Tuesday, June 16th. After that, the ship will depart, so be sure to bookmark your favorite sites to return to later for instructions and patterns for the projects. The set that I will be featuring is Prehistoric Pals!!! Yes this set is retiring so sad to see it go, it is such a cute set!

So to kick of the blog hop I am sharing a sneak peek with you all today! Here is a card that I created for this special event!! Well ok I also need a b-day card for my little cousin he is turning 1!!! Hard to believe time sure flies by!

I used the Prehistoric Pals stamp set item #115048 and A Little Birthday Cheer item #115018. The card base is Basic Gray, then Kiwi Kiss if you look close I did lots of paper piercing, in the bottom right hand corner I stamped Happy Birthday in Basic Gray! I then added a strip of Pacific Point DSP, some 1/4 Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon and two silver brads to the side of it. I stamped the trees in Basic Gray and Kiwi Kiss, then stamped the dinosaur in Pacific Point and cut him out. I placed him over the top of the trees with a dimensional. I really love how this card turned out!!! I can't wait to give it to the little guy!

Crazy for Cupcakes

Good Morning!!

Another beautiful day here! Yeah!! Also another busy day!

The card I am sharing to today features retiring in colors and DSP! I used two stamp sets Crazy for Cupcakes item # 111618 and A Little Birthday Cheer item # 115018. I kept this card very simple and easy to make. The base is Pacific Point, I cut a piece of DSP Kiwi Kiss and stamped the sentiment from A Little Birthday Cheer Stamp Set, then tied some Pacific Point 5/8 Striped Grosgrain Ribbon around it. I stamped the cupcake from the Crazy for Cupcakes set in Black Stazon and colored it in with a blender pen and Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point classic ink pads. Then layered it on Tangerine Tango and put dimensionals on the back and placed it on the card. Very simple and easy card to create!

Fun and Fast Notes

Hello!!

Good morning everyone! It is finally nice and sunny out! Its just been dreary and rainy since sat. here we need the rain but ugh I was ready for some sunshine! Another busy day here!

For the rest of the month I will be sharing projects with you all of retiring stamp sets or show casing the retiring in colors so make sure to come back each day for a visit I will have a different project to share!!!

The card I am sharing today for some reason the colors do not show up right on the computer. This was a card we did for a Stamp a Stack we used Fun and Fast Notes item #113500 and Petal Prints item #111008. The base of the card is Rose Red it looks purple here but it is Rose Red, then I used Tangerine Tango. (This is a retiring incolor you'll want to order it now before its gone!) To create the image on the Whisper White with the Petal Prints I stamped it in Rose Red, cleaned the stamp and then stamped it with Tangerine Tango over it! How cool is that!! I just love how that worked out!!

I stamped the Fun and Fast Notes in Black Stazon and colored it in using blender pen and the ink pads. I stamped Get Well Wishes and then punched it out using the Word Window punch and then hand cut another piece in Rose Red for behind it. I added the ribbon on, did some paper piercing to the edges and added the Rose Red brads at the top to the side. I love how this card turned out!

Good Morning Stampers!

Last night was my Mystery Hostess/ Retirement party! I did a safari them and man did we have fun!! It was a great night thank you ladies for coming!! I drew Jan and Darla's name for the Mystery Hostess Part! Way to go ladies!

I just want to remind everyone there are only a few day's left to RSVP and Pay for my Scrapbook Class on June 15th! Were doing a summer theme and will be using the Big Shot!! If you would like to attended you can email or call me!!

Today's share is a card I made awhile ago for a swap! I used the Very Versatile Stamp Set out of the Occasion's mini Item # 113806. I love this set! Its a wonderful set and lots of great saying in it! I also used my beloved Big Shot item #116314 and SU Lots of Tags Sizzlits item #114508.

The base is Sage Shadow, then Close to Cocoa and Vellum over that! I stamped the tree in Close to Cocoa on Whisper White. I used the Ticket punch on the corners of the Whisper White and Sage Shadow. I die cut a tag out and stamped my saying in Close to Cocoa and used the Horizontal Slot Punch on the sides of the tag so I could run White Organza ribbon through! I loved how this card turned out!

Flight of the Butterfly

Good Morning!

Well we did have a very long day yesterday! We got a lot done, but still a long ways to go. Spent part of the day sorting and moving cattle. Then we started cutting the posts for all the corners for the fence. For the corner posts we used recycled power poles so as you can imagine that is quite the job! The power poles are huge! We got about 4o of them cut and half of them placed out, have another 2o left to cut and lay out then comes the fun of digging the holes to place them! Thank god for machinery!! I sure wouldn't want to dig all those in by hand! lol

Ok have I made you all tired? I sure made myself tired again! lol For today's card I made this for one of my Regional Swaps! I used the Flight of the Butterfly Stamp Set item #111564. This is one of the free sets I got at convention last year! If you want to learn how you can earn free stamp sets please contact me! I would love to have you on my team! For the cardstock I used Basic Grey, Perfect Plum, Pale Plum and Whisper White. On the Pale Plum I stamped images of the butterflies in Perfect Plum ink and also stamped the saying in Perfect Plum ink on the bottom right hand corner. I took some Basic Grey Taffeta Ribbon and wrapped a piece around the side. On the Whisper White Cardstock I stamped the butterfly in Pale Plum and then stamped the outline in Perfect Plum. (this is a 2-step stamp set) Then I stamped little butterflies on the Whisper White cardstock with Basic Grey ink. I stamped 2 little butterflies on some Whisper White cardstock and cut them out, I added Dazzling Diamond onto the butterflies to give it a little bang. Very Simple card but still looks amazing!

Morning everyone!

We are up and running for the morning already, the weather is great and while its great we have to take advantage of it to work on the fencing at my parents farm. So we've got one busy day ahead of us!

The card I picked to share with you today is one of my favorites! I of course used my beloved big shot item #116314 and the SU Backgrounds 1 Texture Plates item#114512! For the Stamp Set I used Crazy for Cupcakes item#111618. For the cardstock I used Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip. I ran the Pink Pirouette through the Big Shot using the Polka dotted plate from the SU Backgrounds 1, then took a piece of 1" Double Stitched Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon and wrapped that around it. I stamped the cupcake in Black Stazon and then colored it in using a Blender Pen with Pumpkin Pie, and Chocolate Chip Classic Inks. I took the ticket punch to the corners of the cupcake piece. I stamped the saying in Pumpkin Pie ink, punched it out using the Large Oval Punch and then sponged Chocolate Chip Ink around the edges.

Happy Friday!!!!

Yeah its Friday!!! Its been a very long and busy week here!

Just a reminder today is the last day to RSVP for my Mystery Hostess/Retirement Party! At this party I will be featuring some of the retired stamp sets! Its a party you don't want miss!! Today I am sharing a card we made at one of my Stamp A Stacks! We used the Wanted Stamp Set item #115106. When I hear this name I think of the show Deadliest Catch! I love that show!!
Ok now you all have the theme song running through your head for the day!

It was a very simple and easy card to make! For the cardstock I used Really Rust, Close to Cocoa, and Natural Ivory. One piece of the Natural Ivory Pieces I stamped different images from the Wanted set in Really Rust, More Mustard and Close to Cocoa. On the other piece of Natural Ivory I stamped the horse in Close to Cocoa and then kept stamping it with re inking it to make it look like a herd of horses. Then I stamped the medallion from the set in Really Rust ink and punched it out with the Scallop Circle punch, topped it of with a Choc. Chip Corduroy Button with Natural hemp tied through it!. Last thing I did before assembling was sponge Close to Cocoa ink around the Natural Ivory papers.

Today I am sharing a card I made for a swap awhile ago! I used the Just Beachy Stamp Set item #113796 from the Occasions Mini! When I saw this set I had to have it! I loved the sandals, well I love the hole set. It is just a fun set!! I also used my Big Shot item# 116314 and the SU Backgrounds 1 Texture Plates item# 114512 I used the A Little Birthday Cheer item # 115018. My base is Pumpkin Pie, then Tempting Turquoise. Next was the Green Galore I stamped Happy Birthday on the bottom in Temping Turquoise Ink and then ran this piece through my Big Shot using the dotted texture plate! I took some 1/2 Pumpkin Pie Striped Ribbon and tied it around the Green Galore cardstock, then used a piece of 1/4 Tempting Turquoise and tied that around the ribbon! I stamped my sandals from the Just Beachy set in Black Stazon and then colored in with my WaterColor Wonder Crayons, then went back over them an add Dazzling Diamond Glitter to them! Then punched the corners out with my ticket punch and layered it on the cardstock! I really struggle using these colors, its way out of my comfort zone but I think my cards turned out pretty good!

Good Morning!

Wowzier is it cool here this morning! I have 38 degrees right now!! Come on its time for summer not winter again :) lol

For today's share I made this card for a swap that I was in awhile ago! I used the Very Versatile Stamp Set item # 113806 out of the Occasions Mini. Love this set it so great for a lot of things! My base of the card is Pacific Point Cardstock, then Kiwi Kiss which I ran through the crimper, next is Summer Sun I used the Eyelet Border Punch on the bottom and then wrapped a piece of 5/8 Pacific Point Striped Grosgrain Ribbon. I stamped the tree image in Kiwi Kiss on WW then used the ticket punch in the corners and attached to a piece of Choc. Chip Cardstock. I stamped the saying in Choc. Chip ink on WW cardstock and punched it out with the Large Oval Punch. I used the Scallop Oval Punch out of the Occasions Mini and punched out a piece of Pacific Point Cardstock. Layered the two pieces together and then stuck a dimensional on the back and placed it in the bottom right hand corner. At the top I add a gold brad to finish it off. I thought the card turned out great!

Today's share is a card we made at one of my stamp-a-stacks! I used the big shot item #113439, the SU Background's 1 Texture plates item #114512. For stamps we used 2 sets Petal Pizzazz item #113417 and Garden Whimsy item #113502. We stamped the flowers from the Petal Pizzazz in Pixi Pink, So Saffron and Bashful Blue. The saying was from the Garden Whimsy set and stamped in Chocolate Chip Ink. The Pixi Pink cardstock was ran through the Big Shot with the SU Backgrounds 1 Texture Plates and then sponged around the edges with Chocolate Chip Ink. The Whisper White Cardstock was also sponged around the edges with Chocolate Chip ink. For accessories 1/4 Bashful Blue grosgrain ribbon was added along with a button from the Fresh Favorites 11 collection.

Kiwi Kiss Patterns DSP

Morning everyone,

Yesterday was an interesting day around here. It was an exciting and a sad day. For the exciting news! We got a good start on our firewood, got the slab pile moved and the best part one of my cards was featured on Stampin' Up! Demo's showcase!! This was my first one to ever be picked in 6 years, it just goes to show you to keep trying and never give up!!!

For the sad news one of our family members passed away, it was a blessing but still sad. This morning is the funeral. So I am posting quick.

So for today's share is the card I made to give to his wife and family.
I used 2 stamp sets to create this card. I used Bloomin' Beautiful item #111490 and Close As A Memory item #114946. I diecut an Oval out using my Big Shot and Ovals Original die item #114525, then stamped the flower from Bloomin' Beauitful in Black Stazon and colored it in with a blender pen using Elegant Eggplant and Kiwi Kiss. I cut a piece of Kiwi Kiss Patterns DSP item #112161, used the Eyelet Border Punch along the edge. Next I used the Sympathy saying from Close As A Memory stamp set. I inked it in Elegant Eggplant and stamped on the Kiwi Kiss Patterns DSP. They tied a piece of White Organza Ribbon around it. Then popped the Oval up on dimensionals. To finish it off I placed one of our Corduroy Kiwi Kiss Buttons off to the side. I then decorated the envelop with some Elegant Eggplant cardstock and Kiwi Kiss Patterns DSP just to give it a little something more!

Happy Friday everyone!! Wow were does the week go? Hubby is off today so we will be cutting firewood :) and hopping that later I will get some stamping in!

Today's share is a card I demonstrated at a party! I really loved it and I think everyone else did too! We used the Great Friend Stamp Set item #113792 and Walk in the Park DSP item #115123! I love the set and the paper it goes together so beautifully!! The Paper is part of SU promotion this month! There are only a few day's left, so you don't want to miss out! I used the Big Shot and the SU Backgrounds 1 Texture Plates item #114512 on the Cameo Coral cardstock. I stamped the butterflies in Basic Grey and Baja Breeze and then cut them out. I stamped the friend message in cameo coral ink and cut it out and then used the Matchbox XL Bigz die item #114890 to cut out the tag in Baja Breeze. Then used the Eyelet Border Punch and punched along the Walk in the Park DSP. I attached some white organza ribbon over the DSP and then set a silver eyelet of to the side. I thought it was very pretty!
